Marquette Castings has unveiled its No. 13 cast iron skillet to the market. The company launched on Kickstarter two years ago and has since teamed up with RLM Industries to produce the cast iron skillets in the U.S.
The No. 13 skillet comes equipped with loop handles that enable it to fit better in the oven, on the stove and in the cabinet, the company said. Weighing 7.6 pounds, the cast iron skillet is made by hand in the U.S. It carries a price tag of $224.95.
Marquette Castings originally launched on Kickstarter in the fall of 2016, and while it originally used Chinese manufacturers to create the product, they have now found a domestic foundry, the company said.
