Marshalls has come up with a unique promotion designed to demonstrate that it can be a destination for Father’s Day and other gift-giving occasions.
The off-price retailer has mounted a billboard near the iconic Flatiron Building in New York City that is stocked with father-friendly potential gifts. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. eastern time today, passersby need only share a dad joke to select one of the items mounted on the billboard, which a certified climber will retrieve.
According to the retailer, the promotion demonstrates how Marshalls can offer shoppers surprising gift choices given its ever-changing mix of products. Marshalls will stock stores with big and small quality gift options for Father’s Day, including tech items, outdoor games, designer apparel, brand-name footwear, and more, at prices that even frugal dads might appreciate, noted the company.
