Mastrad To Roll Out Stor’eat Smart Food Storage System

Mastrad will debut the new Stor’eat connected food storage system that is designed to help reduce waste and prevent food waste in households, in 2021 to the U.S. market.

The Stor’eat boxes are made of borosilicate glass and can go directly from the freezer to the oven as well as from the refrigerator to the microwave, the company said.

In addition, the containers include QR codes on the handles that give consumers access to the Stor’eat app for logging the boxes and the expiration dates of the contents. Automatic notifications can then remind consumers that it is time to eat what is in a certain box.

The handles are removable and enable the boxes to be easily stacked to save space in the cupboard. Each color handle corresponds to a specific size box for improved organization.
