HAWTHORNE, NY— Women’s soccer legend Mia Hamm is partnering with Allstar Products Group in the marketing of PainCakes hands- and strap-free adhesive cold packs.
The World Cup soccer champion will be featured in Allstar’s multi-channel, performance-based marketing program— including DRTV, digital and social platforms— in support of PainCakes. Hamm appears in a short-form PainCakes infomercial that recently began airing.
PainCakes feature a proprietary chill-peel-and-stick technology that allows users to attach the compact, disk-shaped cold packs directly to skin where relief is needed.
PainCakes are offered in single-packs of large disks and two-packs of mini disks, as well as a shoulder/neck wrap.
Hamm, as a mother and an accomplished athlete, relates to an active PainCakes target market seeking convenient, effective pain relief, said Teresa Sinapi, Allstar’s director of brand marketing.
