Luxury tableware, jewelry and home decor store Michael C. Fina will close its retail location at 500 Park Avenue, New York City, effective April 16. The company will continue its e-commerce site MichaelCFina.com.
“Since my grandparents first opened Michael C. Fina more than 80 years ago, we’ve been pioneers of new retail approaches. Transitioning to an online-only store lets Michael C. Fina evolve with our customers, who are already overwhelmingly shopping at MichaelCFina.com,” said Steven Fina, president and chief merchant, Michael C. Fina.
Fina also announced, “Over the next several months we will transition our fulfillment services to Amazon. This will provide the same superior experience [customers]have come to trust from Amazon in getting what they have ordered as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
Additionally, Michael C. Fina’s wedding registry intends to broaden its bridal reach through a partnership with online universal registry Zola.
“By partnering with Zola to power our online wedding registry through their best in class customer experience, we will bring the products, designers and manufacturers that Michael C. Fina is known for to a larger audience than ever before,” he said.
“Couples have turned to Michael C. Fina as they build their lives together by adding the finest quality and craftsmanship in tableware, home décor and jewelry to their wedding registries,” said Shan-Lyn Ma, CEO and founder, Zola. “Partnering with Michael C.
