Michaels said it will hire approximately 15,000 seasonal positions across its U.S. and Canada stores and distribution centers in preparation for the 2019 holiday season.
The company will host a national seasonal hiring event in more than 1,250 stores across the country on Saturday, September 7 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Seasonal team members benefit from competitive wages, flexible hours and a 30% discount, the company said.
Last year, Michaels said it hired more than 40% of seasonal in-store positions into regular roles following the holidays, including over 30% of their distribution center seasonal team members and over 40% of Artistree’s seasonal staff.
