Mikasa Hospitality will launch its brand and products into the front-of-the-house hospitality sector at the National Restaurant Association Show (NRA), held in Chicago, May 18 to 22.
Mikasa Hospitality is a newly created brand and an independent business unit of Lifetime Brands, said company officials. The new brand will offer dinnerware, flatware, drinkware and table-serving accessories to the hospitality industry. It is being led by industry veteran KC Chewning, general manager, and experienced food service veteran Jeanne Silag, vp/business development.
“Mikasa Hospitality is an independently run organization under the umbrella of a large, highly efficient company. In this way, we will be leveraging the many strengths of our corporate parent, Lifetime Brands, while bringing quality, innovative food service products to today’s hospitality customers,” said Chewning.
“We realize that the hospitality sector has different requirements and unique demands in its front-of-the-house products and we have spent a good portion of the past year developing products. Mikasa Hospitality will meet these hospitality-specific demands,” said Rob Kay, CEO, Lifetime Brands.
