Linden Sweden, USA, has named Mike Mohn president effective January 1. The company is an importer of kitchenware from Scandinavian companies including Jonas, twixit and more.
Mohn will step into the President’s role after working with Linden Sweden in several capacities since May of this year. He will replace Linda Arnesen, who has served as president for eight years.
“I am very excited to take the reins at Linden” says Mike Mohn, “I have followed the company since its inception in 2003 and see many opportunities for continuing growth. We work with great companies in Sweden that continue to develop innovative and functional products for our markets and have a loyal customer base. I am excited to build on Linden’s strong track record.”
Prior to working with Linden Sweden, Mohn served as a Marine Corps JAG Officer doing strategic and sales consulting for a mix of small and large companies owned by private equity firms, along with owning several business, the company said.
“The varied experience is part of what attracted us to Mike,” Jens Sorensen, president of Linden Sweden International, Linden Sweden’s parent company said. “We have continued to expand in the U.S. market and now find ourselves in need of someone to lead our future growth.”
In a statement to the company’s retail partners, Arnesen said, “I have been in the housewares industry for over 12 years, and it has been an amazing ride. To my many customers and friends who have become like family along the way, I say thank you! I have enjoyed working with each of you.”
