Neato expanded its connected floor care assortment with two new robotic vacuums, the WiFi-enabled Botvac D3 and Botvac D5, which were launched at this year’s International Home + Housewares Show.
The robotic vacuums connect to the company’s Neato app, through which users can start, stop, pause and schedule the robots’ cleaning schedule. Users can also now connect to the Botvac Connected, Botvac D3 and Botvac D5 robotic vacuums through smart watches due to the company’s recent app update.
In addition to the connected features, the D3 and D5 feature LaserSmart technology, allowing the vacuums to identify furniture, doorways and stairs, and methodically clean from room to room, and SpinFlow Power Clean systems. Both models are able to clean a variety of flooring types including hardwood, tile and carpet.
The Neato D3 robotic vacuum carries a manufacturer suggested retail price of $399.99, and the D5 robotic vacuum carries a manufacturers suggested retail price of $599.99.
