TL at Home is launching two new community-oriented initiatives that represent a unique response to the COVID-19 pandemic: Love Letter, an online blog from company president Shari Kline; and NS Gratitude & Giving Back, a new annual charitable program that starts this month and will return every October.
The first edition of Love Letter is live on the TL at Home website. Kline said she intends that it inspire new conversations and engage readers, who are invited to share their comments, suggestions and questions via email link.
The Gratitude & Giving Back initiative will roll out in partnership with the New Hampshire chapter of domestic victims support program New Beginnings: Without Violence & Abuse and PS21, Performance Spaces for the 21st Century, a non-profit organization promoting the performing arts and extending opportunities for arts engagement to all, regardless of age, economic status and cultural background.
“Giving back has always been important to me, and certainly a big part of the historical traditions of TL at Home,” Kline stated. “This unprecedented time reminded us of the importance of being community minded, sharing with our neighbors in need, supporting each other. The blog is key because it is my way of connecting on a more personal level with my customers and industry colleagues; and marking October as our month of giving is meaningful to me because it’s my birthday month, which urges me to celebrate the milestone annually with a gesture of generosity.”
