New Videos, Ad Take Wahl Campaign To Extra Innings

Wahl Clipper Corp.’s Real Guys, Real Grooming campaign, featuring documentary-style ads and videos that tell the story of the LumberKings, a minor league baseball team from Clinton, IA, is entering its next chapter. The campaign expands with a new 30-second ad and three new videos that focus on how grooming contributes to success on and off the field, Wahl announced.

Two videos connect looking good, feeling good and playing good, the company noted. No Off Season follows catcher Tyler Marlette, pitcher Tyler Pike and outfielder Jabari Henry as they train in their hometowns and prepare for next season. Game Face looks behind-the-scenes at what it takes to ready the field and players for a game and series. Another spot, Healthy Cut captures LumberKings players and coaches shaving their heads to raise money for St. Baldricks and childhood cancer research. The series, running on, started with documenting the players’ pursuit of their dream and the brotherhood of the team. It now turns to what real commitment from real guys really looks like, Wahl stated.

Wahl’s Lithium Ion grooming tools, hair clippers and facial hair trimmers feature in the campaign, which emphasizes their ability to provide the endurance and power guys need for life on the road, in the locker room and everywhere in between.
