Newegg has reinforced its Canadian market infrastructure with the opening of its new Vancouver-area warehouse and distribution center. Based in Richmond, British Columbia, the facility will benefit customers in Western Canada in the form of reduced shipping costs and quicker delivery, the company said.
“Canadian customers are a core part of our North American business, and we’re aggressively expanding our presence to provide them with the best possible Newegg experience,” said James Wu, COO of Newegg. “Putting down roots in Western Canada is integral to our plan to serve our Canadian customers.”
The company’s new warehouse and distribution facility will serve customers in Western Canada, including Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan and Yukon Territory. Shipping times will be reduced by one to two days for most orders and shipping costs will be reduced accordingly, the company said.
