Newell Brands brings a focus on new technologies and products with smart capabilities among its brand portfolio’s kitchen electric introductions.
One featured highlight is the Calphalon Performance Cool Touch Countertop Oven, which uses Quartz Heat technology and turbo convection for up to 40% more consistent, even heating inside, the company said. The innovative cool touch exterior keeps the outside of the oven cool— up to 75% cooler than conventional countertop ovens, according to the company.
The countertop oven offers 12 different precision cooking functions, including toast, bagel, bake, roast, broil, pizza, cookies, reheat, dehydrate, keep warm, defrost and bread proof, as well as a convenient Step Cook feature which allows users to program back-to-back cooking functions at once— for example, bake for 30 minutes and then broil for five minutes. Suggested retail price is $299.99.
Under the Oster brand, the company is launching its Oster DiamondForce Electric Cookware, featuring a new long-lasting non-stick coating with the strength and resilience of diamonds. DiamondForce is reinforced and infused with diamond particles, creating a stronger coating to provide easy food release and non-stick performance over time, the company said. Suggested retail prices on DiamondForce products start at $39.99 and go up to $99.99.
In its Crock Pot brand, the company is introducing the Crock-Pot Amazon Alexa-Enabled Programmable Slow Cooker (shown below). The new cooker allows users to control meal preparation with simple voice commands, including stopping and starting the cooker, programming cooking times, programming heat settings and monitoring the status of the meal from any location. The cooker has a 6-quart capacity, large enough to accommodate a six-pound roast. Suggested retail is $119.99.
