Nordstrom and Balsam Hill have teamed up to present in-store artificial Christmas Tree lots in 21 Nordstrom stores in 13 states. The displays, depending on location, will be open throughout the holiday season.
This is a first-time partnership for both companies. It is the first time Balsam Hill has offered trees through a brick-and-mortar retail partner and the first time Nordstrom has sold a full Christmas tree assortment.
Nordstrom Stores in New York City, Mall of America in Minnesota, California’s South Coast Plaza and 19 other locations will showcase up to 20 different Balsam Hill trees including the new Fraser Fir.
The featured trees come in a variety of shapes and sizes to reflect consumers’ personal style. Tree buyers can choose from pre-set lighting options or create customized effects and can be ordered with free home delivery. The companies will offer virtual and in-store tree events throughout the holiday season, which will be shared through social media.
“This is the perfect partnership because our companies’ commitment to our customers and focus on high quality merchandise is very similar,” said Claire Magat, chief people officer and head of growth, Balsam Hill. “Christmas tree lovers across the country now have an opportunity to see our wide variety of realistic trees in person.”
