Noritake EVP Goldberger To Retire

After serving 20 years in various positions with the tableware company, Noritake executive vice president, Peter Goldberger, will retire at the end of the year.

Goldberger joined Noritake in 1998 as the national sales and marketing manager of its Epoch division. He was named Noritake’s vp/marketing in 2004 and evp in 2008.

“This transition has been planned for quite some time,” said Goldberger. “My years at Noritake have allowed me to enjoy a full and enriching career and I am confident that I am leaving at a time when we have the personnel in place who can lead the company to the next level of growth.”

“On behalf of Noritake, I thank Peter for his leadership and commitment over the past 20 years,” said Matthew Mizukuchi, president of Noritake’s U.S. tabletop division. “He and his talented team have built an organization that is truly world class and have kept our products front and center in the U.S. marketplace.”

In a related move, Noritake is also announcing that effective October 1, Jay Fingert will become the company’s svp/sales and marketing, and Michele Evans will become the company’s national sales manager.
