The NPD Group’s home division presented its third annual industry performance awards Saturday during the International Home + Housewares Show.
Awards were given to small appliance and non-electric housewares brands with the largest year-over-year increase in market share in 2015, according to NPD’s Retail Tracking Service. Brands with overall sales among the top 15 in the category were eligible.
“These awards showcase companies that are advancing their business, and leading the way for the home industry in an evolving retail and consumer landscape,” said Lora Morsovillo, president of NPD’s home division. “It is exciting to observe progress in our industry, and recognize the players who demonstrate the ability to not only keep up, but build momentum.”
