More than 300 international companies, representing 47 countries, will participate in the winter 2011 edition of the New York International Gift Fair.
“No other U.S. market provides such an extensive base of international gift, home and lifestyle suppliers,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and senior vp/GLM.
Some 15 international government-sponsored contingents will participate in the fair, with eight of them — from Africa, England, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Mexico, and Russia — located in NYIGF’s General Gift division. Additional government sponsored groups — from England, Egypt, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Mexico and Peru — will take positions in NYIGF’s Handmade, Accent on Design, and Tabletop & Housewares divisions. Companies from around the world also can exhibit independently in the fair.
NYIGF runs January 29 through February 3, 2011, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94.
