Oneida Adds To Executive Leadership Team

The Oneida Group has added to its leadership team with the appointment of three new executives, all of whom have extensive prior experience with the company. Bert Filice has been named president and chief sales officer. Mike Hanson and Mark Cymanski have been appointed svp/supply chain and vp/procurement, respectively.

“Expanding our bench of experienced operational leadership is a priority for us as we look to heighten our focus on glass sales and customer service; expand production capacity; enhance relationships with suppliers; and increase product innovation, development and marketing,” said Mark Eichhorn, CEO of The Oneida Group. “Bert, Mike and Mark not only bring a depth and breadth of operational expertise, their prior experience with the company will enable them to seamlessly transition into these important roles and accelerate the pace of progress.”

A former long-time Oneida Group executive, Filice served from 2011 to 2015 as a svp with the company (then known as EveryWare Global), leading sales and marketing efforts for both the Anchor Hocking and Oneida brands across consumer, business to business and food service markets. Prior to that, he spent seven years as the svp/marketing and sales for Anchor Hocking, directing all global sales and marketing efforts. Most recently, he was president of Magnotta Wine Corp.

Hanson, another Oneida Group veteran, has served since 2016 as svp of Hollander Sleep Products. Earlier in his career he was vp/supply chain for EveryWare Global, where he directed global supply chain, sales and operations planning, production and inventory control, distribution, transportation, forecasting and maintenance, repair and operations purchasing.

Cymanski previously served as director of global purchasing for Anchor Hocking, responsible for generating cost improvements and managing enterprise-wide inventory to budgeted levels while improving customer service levels. Between joining Anchor Hocking originally in 2004 as a global sourcing manager and returning in 2009 as a sourcing and procurement manager, he was a planning manager for Elmer’s Products.
