Ontel Products has been licensed to manage retail distribution of Shine Armor Fortify Quick Coat, a waterless, all-in-one solution for cleaning, polishing and protecting auto exteriors.
Shine Armor Fortify Quick Coat is infused with a combination silica/ceramic paint sealant that is said by Shine Armor to be 20 times stronger and last longer than wax or paint sealants.
The quick coat is sprayed on a car’s exterior surface and gently applied with a microfiber towel. A second, dry microfiber towel is used to buff the remaining residue before it dries.
The protectant— to be offered by Ontel as a kit including an 8-ounce spray bottle of the quick coat and two microfiber towels at a $19.99 retail price— is set to hit retailers in the first quarter, ahead of the spring auto detailing season, said Craig Jordan, Ontel’s svp/sales and customer solutions.
Each bottle provides enough quick coat to clean and protect a large car/SUV/minivan.
Ontel plans a full-scale DRTV campaign to support the Shine Armor retail program, Jordan said.
Shine Armor will continue to manage e-commerce through the brand’s website and social media platforms. Shine Armor’s website also offers home detailing solutions for tires, car interiors, widows and scratch repair.
“[Shine Armor Fortify Quick Coat] is an innovative, high-performance product from an established brand that has already generated about 50 million impressions on social media,” Jordan said.
