Marie Kondo, an organizational expert and author of “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up,” has launched a home storage box set.
Kondo’s book is based on KonMari, a Japanese method of decluttering and organizing. In support of the method, Kondo has made a new set of three storage boxes available for pre-order.
The Hikidashi box set is named for the Japanese word “to draw out.” The set, which contains six configurable pieces, are made from sustainable fiberboard and topped with a laminated paper, made from recycled content. The boxes are designed to fit inside drawers to organize clothes.
The boxes also feature inspirational cards and includes exclusive online access to the KonMari Tidying Series, a step-by-step tutorial on how to master the KonMari Method.
The Hikidashi box set is available in four designs: Balance, Clarity, Harmony and Wonder. It has a suggested retail price of $89 and is scheduled to ship in September.
