Overstock.com is seizing a day of its own. Like its pure play competitors, Overstock is designating a day, October 15, for a special promotional event. The foundation of the promotion will be the company’s 19th anniversary.
Overstock Customer Day will include discounts on more than 1.5 million products, according to the e-tailer. The inaugural Customer Day event will include more discounted products than Overstock has ever offered customers in a single sale initiative, the company added.
Customer Day will feature deals on products that Overstock has never before discounted, the company maintained, including new products and highest rated favorites across multiple categories including all home décor as well as area rugs and bedding. Overstock will incorporate its private label brands in the promotions as well as a 20% off coupon on select items, a coupon for $50 off $300 on select products and free shipping on all orders more than $45 in the U.S. In addition, the company will provide a free one-month trial to its rewards program, Club O, and double reward dollars for all Club O members
