Oxo has rolled out a large assortment of kitchenware across several categories including an array of gadgets and tools designed for food prep at the International Home + Housewares Show.
As a follow-up to its hand-held spiralizer, Oxo is debuting the Good Grips tabletop spiralizer. In addition to its spiral blade, the tabletop spiralizer includes two additional, color-coded blades to transform vegetables into fettuccini-like noodles as well as a straight blade to make quick work of ribbon cuts or even shred cabbage for coleslaw. The new spiralizer has a removable storage box that keeps blades conveniently stored on board to keep them safe, clean, organized and compact. Suggested retail price: $39.99.
Oxo’s new vegetable chopper with easy-pour opening has an accessible opening to pour out vegetables once they are chopped. Its stainless steel blade pattern is designed to chop produce into half-inch cubes and will hold a 2.5-cup capacity. It has a removable grid for clean-ups and has a non-slip material on its lid, which Oxo said is designed to provide leverage for efficient chopping. SRP: $24.99.
As for slicing food, Oxo will debut its mini mandoline slicer. According to the company, the tool is designed to slice small vegetables that can be difficult to slice on a full-size mandoline, such as radishes, mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. It has an angled, stainless steel blade that will slice to 2.5 mm thickness, a food holder and plunger to keep food contained and protect hands while slicing. SRP: $12.99.
