Oxo Intensifies Kitchenware Expansion With U.S. Bakeware

Following the company’s recent entries into the small electrics and cookware categories, Oxo is adding another ingredient to its product mix: bakeware.

Debuted at the recent International Home + Housewares Show, Oxo’s Non-Stick Pro Bakeware line— branded under its Good Grips collection— was launched with 11 SKUs and marks the company’s first entrance into the category. Manufactured in the United States by USA Pan, the line is constructed of commercial-grade, heavy-gauge aluminized steel and has a ceramic-reinforced non-stick coating.

“The premium coating, aluminized steel, commercial gauge, and opting to manufacture the product in the U.S. with a best in class manufacturing partner, results in a line that will be positioned as a premium offering,” Larry Witt, svp/sales and market development for Oxo, told HOMEWORLD BUSINESS®.

The line features a coating developed by Ilag and is a Swiss-engineered PTFE, two-layer, commercial-grade coating that is said to be scratch-, stain-, corrosion-, and abrasion-resistant.

In addition, the bakeware features a gold tone and a micro-textured pattern that is said to ensure even baking and promote airflow. The texture is also is said to add structural rigidity to prevent warping. Square-rolled edges add reinforcement for structure, strength and durability, and also provide a secure grip for easy handling and transferring to and from the oven, Oxo officials said.

The line is scheduled to launch this fall and will include a cookie sheet, pizza pan, half sheet pan, jelly roll pan, quarter sheet pan, loaf pan, 9-inch square and round cake pan, 9- by 13-inch cake pan, a 12-cup muffin pan and a 24-cup mini muffin pan.
