Oxo is highlighting its updated Chef’s Steel Mandoline Slicer 2.0 design.
The slicer features updated features like an angled Japanese steel blade and a top-view indicator window that makes switching between blade settings easier, the company noted. The stainless steel design allows users to create up to 21 different cuts with thickness settings in 0.5-mm intervals, straight and wavy blades, and built-in julienne and French fry blades.
Each of the slicer features is designed to maximize speed and precision, explained Oxo. The platform height has a parallel adjustment, so foods are cleanly cut and wedge-free. In addition, the food holder’s ample size protects fingers and is spring-loaded to push food down as the user moves it forward.
The Oxo Steel Chef’s Mandoline 2.0 is available now and has a suggested retail price of $99.99.
