Panasonic recently entered a three-year relationship with Life Time Fitness, a member-based chain of large sports, professional fitness, family recreation and spa destinations across the U.S.
According to the company, the partnership will provide Life Time members at select locations with exclusive access to Panasonic consumer products from the company’s beauty and men’s grooming portfolio. For example, members will be able to test and purchase hairstyling tools in Life Time’s LifeSpas, as well as high-end massage chairs in the new LifeLounge powered by Panasonic. In addition, members will have access to products from Panasonic’s line of cameras, headphones and home entertainment devices.
“Panasonic is very excited to begin this relationship with Life Time and to have the opportunity to connect with their savvy and tech-minded members,” said Julie Bauer, president, Panasonic Consumer Products Company. “We feel that when you enable consumers to experience our products and talk to our product experts in environments where they would normally be using them, it gives them a real sense of how that product can enhance their lives. We’re eager to reach Life Time members and build connections with this valuable audience.”
Panasonic will also sponsor more than 30 Life Time fitness events such as the New York City Triathlon, Life Time Tri Series and Life Time Esprit de She race series. Also during the events, the company said it will have Panasonic beauty products available to participants via kiosks, such as Panasonic’s Nano-e Hair Dryer, which will be used to give hair blow outs at the LifeSpa Beauty Bar during the Esprit de She race series.
