Wayfair has been known for its curation of products, organizing merchandise to simplify the shopping experience for consumers. The retailer has been gradually expanding its curation efforts, with the latest example being the launch of its Greyleigh collection.
With Greyleigh, Wayfair is applying its expertise in identifying and satisfying specific home fashion tastes at the trend level. With the collection, presented as part of its namesake website, Wayfair is addressing consumers who have been drawn to artisan furnishings and décor. Greyleigh is a more moderately priced alternative for consumers interested in furnishings of the kind that fills high-end galleries and showrooms. As such, Wayfair is offering consumers who like the look but can’t handle the price tag access to that mode of furnishings design.
