Philips Sonicare has launched a new Sonicare ProtectiveClean electric toothbrush line.
Featuring pressure sensors, the toothbrushes are available in three models that alert users when they are applying too much pressure. Further, the three models allow users to choose a model that helps address their specific oral health care needs, the company noted.
The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean model 4100 toothbrush features an optimal plaque control brush head, designed to remove up to seven times more plaque than a manual toothbrush, the company said. The model 5100 features an optimal gum care brush head, which is said to improve gum health. The model 6100 features a DiamondClean brush head, designed to remove more stains for whiter teeth in one week, the company said.
All three brush heads also now feature new BrushSync technology, which notifies users with a light on the handle when it’s time to swap out the brush head. A built-in microchip in the handle connects automatically with the brush head to select the optimal cleaning mode and intensity setting.
“At Philips Sonicare, we believe there is always a way to make life better, and that includes offering new, innovative products in our portfolio,” said Alexander Harris, senior marketing director, Philips Oral Healthcare. “We understand that consumers want to protect their teeth and gums, while also achieving an exceptional clean in between dental visits. With this new innovation, we are able to provide an effective, at-home solution that can also be easily used on the go.”
The new toothbrushes are now available in various colors at Amazon.com and retailers with prices ranging from $69.99 to $129.99.
