Pier 1 Imports has formed two new philanthropic partnerships with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project.
The retailer will begin the charitable effort by supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this month and support Wounded Warrior Project early next year.
Pier 1 will join the annual St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign. Beginning this month, Pier 1 will encourage consumers to contribute to the cause through point of sale donations to benefit the children’s research hospital. The company will expand its philanthropy program through a partnership with Wounded Warrior Project in early 2019, launching a “Her in Every Hero” campaign that tells the stories of female warriors, family support members and caregivers.
