Pacific Market International (PMI) has named Andréa Martins as president of its South America division.
Martins has assumed her new role as Alberto Jasmim, PMI’s long-time president, South America, prepares to retire at the end of 2019. Martins will report directly to Bob Keller, CEO at PMI, and has responsibility for all of PMI’s South America business.
“It has been an absolute joy for me to work closely with Alberto, and I wish him much happiness in his future,” said Keller. “At the same time, we’re thrilled Andréa has elected to join us. Andrea’s past experience and proven leadership skills will be invaluable in achieving our aggressive growth goals for this region. Alberto is the perfect partner for Andréa through this leadership transition.”
Martins has over 20 years of experience at various consumer goods companies. She has managed several high-profile transformation projects over the course of her career, including the Kraft-Cadbury acquisition, and has held various leadership positions in marketing, commercial production and general management.
Martins comes to PMI from Kraft Foods Ecuador, where she held the position of general manager, and Mondelēz International, Inc., where she was responsible for the company’s northeast region operation. Martins has also held leadership positions at Camil Alimentos, BDF Nivea and Reckitt Benckiser.
