Qurate Retail has named Ian Bailey svp/communications and community, and he will address a wide range of organization functions.
Bailey will take on responsibility for developing and implementing communications strategies that engage team members around the world, raise awareness of the company’s value proposition, demonstrate the power of its leading retail brands portfolio and highlight its leadership across the retail, media and social landscape. He also will focus on further accelerating the company’s corporate responsibility and community support initiatives, as well as lead its corporate communications, financial communications, internal communications, corporate responsibility and consumer public relations teams.
Bailey was vp/head of communications and public relations at Abercrombie & Fitch, where he had responsibility for leading internal communications, media relations, crisis communications and brand public relations for the company and its brands.
