Qurate Reinforces Executive Team

Qurate Retail has made several executive appointments for the Qurate Retail Group, which comprises eight retail brands: QVC, HSN, Zulily, Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, Grandin Road and Improvements.

Jeff Yurcisin has been named president of Zulily, effective August 15. Yurcisin joins Qurate Retail Group after 13 years with Amazon, where most recently he served as vp/fashion private brands.

Mary Campbell has been named chief merchandising and interactive officer, Qurate Retail Group, effective immediately. Campbell will oversee Qurate’s product leadership, platform evolution and consumer marketing, curating exclusive assortments of brands and products. The appointment follows the company bringing the QVC U.S. buying teams and the interactive commerce experiences team together as a global merchandising team. Most recently, she served as chief interactive experience officer, Qurate Retail Group.

In addition, Aidan O’Meara has been named president, Qurate Retail Group international, effective July 2. Most recently, he was group president, international at VF Corp.

Tom Bazzone has been named president, Frontgate. Bazzone will report to Claire Spofford, president, Cornerstone. He joins Qurate from TMB Group, a consulting firm he founded to advise specialty retailers, their owners, and prospective investors on all aspects of retail. Prior to TMB Group, Bazzone held a variety of operations and merchandising leadership roles including at Michaels Stores, Restoration Hardware and Williams-Sonoma.
