Founded by Chef Oren Zroya, a private chef for celebrities like Owen Wilson and Brooke Burke, Rad USA is bringing its first cookware offering to the market. Dubbed The Radical Pan, the lip of the pan has an extended height on one side forming a backboard, which is designed to help flip food.
The cookware has a chemical-free non-stick surface tested and certified safe by the FDA, SGS and NSF, the company said. It is also PFOA-free, contains no PTFE, lead or cadium. The pan comes with an Eclipse non-stick surface, which is designed to reduce the need to add fats and oils to recipes to keep foods from sticking to the pan.
The Radical Pan can be used on gas, electric and induction cooktops, and is oven safe up to 500 degrees, the company said. It can also be placed in the dishwasher. The Radical Pan is available in 8.5-inch, which has a suggested retail price of $89.99; 10-inch for a suggested retail price of $99.99; and 12-inch, which carries a suggested retail price of $109.99.
According to the company, the pan can be purchased through the brand’s website as well as department and big box stores. It has also been made available to the independent gourmet housewares market.
