Cookware manufacturer Regal Ware has acquired Espro, a manufacturer of coffee and tea presses and accessories.
Espro will become a division of Regal Ware and will continue to operate under the Espro brand at its Vancouver, British Columbia, headquarters. Espro’s founders, Bruce Constantine and Chris McLean, will continue with the business. Constantine will lead the division as president and McLean will serve as senior product development engineer.
The addition of the Espro product line is designed to enhance the company’s line of kitchen products, the company said. Regal Ware also plans to expand the Espro product line by leveraging its global reach and established infrastructure. By joining the Regal Ware line of brands, Espro will access additional working capital, affording it the opportunity to accelerate its domestic and international growth strategy.
