Amazon will open a 4-Star store in the Dallas area as the e-commerce outlet continues to test its unique store concept and move further into the world of brick-and-mortar retailing.
According to a report from the Dallas Morning News, Amazon has not officially disclosed the location of its latest store but has posted a job on its website for a store manager. The ad reportedly included details about the Frisco area just north of Dallas.
An Amazon spokesperson told the Dallas Morning News that Amazon was excited to bring a 4-Star store to Dallas, but declined to offer additional details.
Other 4-Star stores are located in Denver; New York City; and Berkeley, CA.
Amazon’s 4-Star locations showcase a host of products, including housewares, that have a consumer rating of four or above, are top sellers or that are new and trending.
