Vista Alegre is working with women’s and menswear brand Timo Weiland on the first edition of Retail Lab, a mentorship and training program that gives fashion designers education in retail, including a rotating retail space at Cadillac House.
Timo Weiland curated a collection of products from Vista Alegre that will be sold in Retail Lab, cross merchandised by theme with pieces from Weiland’s New York Fashion Week runway collection.
The Vista Alegre items will be available to consumers through the end of August, and include a variety of pieces from the Christian Lacroix-designed Butterfly Parade and Sol y Sombra patterns; place settings from the Venezia and Transatlantica collections; Jet Black and Lavish vases; Olympos barware; the Flapper set of bar and décor items; and the Carrara tea set.
“We are very excited to be working with Timo Weiland, one of the fashion industry’s most talented and enterprising designers and brands,” said Daniel da Silva, president, Vista Alegre USA. “By selling our products in Retail Lab, we are bringing the Vista Alegre brand to a new demographic of sophisticated consumers and are aligning our company with an emerging leader in the fashion world, as well as prestigious venues like New York Fashion Week.”
The Retail Lab store is located within Cadillac House at 330 Hudson Street in New York City and is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
