Retailers Prepare For Q4 At Atlanta Gift Market

Gourmet housewares store owners at the summer Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market were on the hunt for new products as they prepare for the holiday selling season.

Gourmet Catalog members were treated to hands-on product training direct from suppliers Wednesday in programming that will continue on Thursday. Participating vendors include Oxo, Lenox, Swissmar, Breville, True Fabrications, Peugeot, JA Henckels, Frieling, DKB Home, Charles Viancin, CDN, Cuisipro and Hammer-Stahl.

According to Artland president Mason Cheng, “The market has been going well. Trends like copper continue to perform well and we are showcasing new items in that material at this show.”

Lenox will also be launching a new line at the show in partnership with Kate Spade. The line will include tabletop and kitchenware.

Programming on the gourmet floor will continue throughout the show. Thursday’s event includes cooking demonstration “Lighten Up, Y’all” presented by chef Virginia Willis, and a baking demonstration by Mary Moore, owner of The Cook’s Warehouse.

The Atlanta Market continues through July 14.
