Robinson Adds Bakeware To Oneida Brand

CHICAGO— Following its expansion of the Oneida brand into cookware, Robinson Home Products is taking one more step to offering consumers a complete Oneida experience in the kitchen. The company has launched Oneida-branded bakeware, which it showcased at the recent International Home + Housewares Show, here.

“Last year, we really focused on cookware, but we had a lot of requests for bakeware, so we started the process,” said Barbara Alonge, business director of Oneida cookware, bakeware and cutlery for Robinson Home Products.

According to Alonge, the company made sure that every bakeware piece in the collections are made with premium materials and Whitford coatings to maintain Oneida’s focus on quality.

“There is tremendous brand awareness in the marketplace with the Oneida name,” Alonge said. “It was a natural fit to add cookware and bakeware to the lines.”

Additionally, Alonge noted that the Oneida brand name visibility will also be an aid to retailers when it comes to selling the bakeware collections.

“Consumers are really going to get a value for their money. The brand will help sell the product and now we really have a full range of Oneida products for the entire kitchen,” she said. “There is really something for everyone in this line.”

The bakeware line includes six new designs and employs specially-designed elements, such as folded edges, the company said.

Bliss, one of the six new bakeware lines, is constructed from heavy-duty carbon steel with Whitford non-stick coating. Each item features rolled edges for added structural support and professional baking results, the company said.

Confection is also constructed from heavy-duty carbon steel with Whitford non-stick coating. The design also has handles for easy gripping, according to the company.

Designed to coordinate with Oneida baking tools and kitchen gadgets that were launched last year is the company’s silicone bakeware line. Constructed from heavy-duty carbon steel with Whitford Quantum 2 non-stick coating, each item features silicone handles, with sienna red accent colors matching the kitchenware.

Another line, Select, is constructed from heavy-gauge carbon steel with Whitford non-stick coating. Each item features rolled edges for added structural support and professional baking results, according to Robinson.

Supreme is constructed from heavy gauge aluminized steel for heat conductivity and durability. Each item features Whitford non-stick coating. Folded edges on cake pans provide added structural support and help produce professional baking results, the company said.

The last new collection is Simply Sweet. This line is constructed from carbon steel with Whitford non-stick coating. Simply Sweet is a promotional line of value items available as a five-piece set and additional open stock items.

Besides several open stock pieces available in each set, there are also an array of additional open stock bakeware available. These include a 9 x 13-inch covered cake pan; 12-cup covered muffin tray with handle; three-piece springform pan set; three-piece cookie sheet set; 12 x 17-inch cooling rack; and four-piece toaster oven set with square cake pan, tray, rack and six cup muffin tray.

All of Oneida’s new bakeware is dishwasher safe, the company said.
