Rolf Glass has purchased two machines from a defunct German glass company in an initiative to expand its U.S.-based manufacturing capabilities.
The new additions will double the glassmaker’s crystal polishing capabilities. The company said it will be able to now polish about 300,000 pieces of glassware per year. The machines will be placed in the company’s Mt. Pleasant, PA-based factory.
Rolf Glass’ assortment includes tabletop, glassware, giftware and personalized gifts. According to the company, each line puts a distinctive twist on contemporary glass. Themed lines include coastal, botanical, contemporary, classical, pop culture and more.
