Rowenta, a Groupe SEB company, has appointed environmental and space toxicologist Dr. Noreen Khan-Mayberry as expert brand ambassador for the Intense Pure Air air purifier line.
Also known as “The Tox Doc,” Dr. Khan-Mayberry will work to further educate the public about the various dangers and sources of harmful indoor air pollutants, and how to effectively combat them with the Intense Pure Air.
“For Rowenta, the appointment of Dr. Noreen Khan-Mayberry as brand ambassador is a reflection of the 10 years of advanced scientific research and development behind the Intense Pure Air,” said Michele Lupton, marketing communications director, Groupe SEB USA.
The Rowenta Intense Pure Air has four layers of filtration and is said to capture and eliminate formaldehyde via its patented fourth NanoCaptur filter.
With 20 years of specialized experience in petrochemistry, microbiology, chemistry, and toxicology, Khan-Mayberry is a NASA space toxicologist, author of Talking Toxicology and CEO of NKM Environmental Health Sciences.
“While we cannot control the air quality everywhere, we can significantly reduce our daily air pollution exposure in our homes and indoor workplaces— where we spend the majority of our time— by utilizing the Rowenta Intense Pure Air,” said Khan-Mayberry. “As the first and only air purifier on the market that destroys formaldehyde, the Intense Pure Air represents a truly groundbreaking advance in technology that I am proud to recommend, both as a toxicologist and as a mom.”
