Royal Copenhagen is expanding its Elements tableware collection at retail this fall. The collection, designed by Louise Campbell, features a modern, abstract take on some of the company’s most iconic pieces.
According to the company, two new serving boards have been introduced in order to reflect the consumer trend towards a more unconventional way of presenting food such as tapas, sushi, cheese and similar foods. The larger rectangular board measures 14 inches and is traced with an abstracted version of Pattern No. 1 and features fluting and a half-lace border on one edge.
The smaller serving board measures 7 inches and features the same hand-painting and lace edge. It is a shorter version, suitable for individual servings of dessert or appetizers or as an unconventional side plate.
The Blue Elements sugar bowl and spoon have also been added to the collection. The bowl has a quirky cut out spoon rest that echoes the details from the company’s signature Full Lace service.
