Saks Fifth Avenue has entered into a partnership with Jean-Louis Costes that will bring the style and sophistication of the iconic Parisian restaurant L’Avenue to the company’s New York flagship store.
Customers will be able to enjoy L’Avenue repasts in various store locations, including the terrace overlooking Rockefeller Center, which has never before been open to the public.
Saks Fifth Avenue is undergoing a three-year renovation designed to enhance and expand the store environment and services at its flagship New York store. The renovation will begin later this year and, the company noted, should finish by mid-2018. Saks Fifth Avenue will remain open throughout the renovation.
“From when we opened our store nearly a century ago, we have challenged ourselves to deliver a world class experience to all of our customers,” said Saks Fifth Avenue president Marc Metrick. “Today, as we reimagine and redevelop our renowned New York City flagship, we are returning to our heritage of giving our customer unparalleled experiences that place Saks at the intersection of fashion and culture. Bringing Parisian legend L’Avenue to our flagship furthers our mission to make Saks the hero again.”
