Looking to highlight its Italian heritage, Sambonet Rosenthal and Paderno Group will be showcasing the Terra.Cotto bakeware assortment, an anchor to the company’s newly launched From Sambonet to Kitchen brand at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.
Terra.Cotto, designed by Milan-based architect and designer Stefania Vasques, is a line of traditional earthenware with a geometric, modern design, the company said.
The material, a fireproof clay, can be used directly on an open flame without a heat diffuser, similar to traditional terracotta, according to the company. It can withstand temperatures over 500 degrees Fahrenheit in either an oven or microwave. In addition, the line is dishwasher safe and has natural anti-stick properties, the company noted.
At the Housewares Show, the company’s Terra.Cotto assortment will include a 6.5- and 9-inch round sauce pot, an 11-inch sauce pan, a 9-inch oval sauce pot and an 11-inch casserole pot in muted jewel tone colors.
