Sauder will debut a host of new products at this month’s Fall High Point Market that will focus on four key trends: international glam, multifunctional pieces, home workstyles and cottage chic.
The company’s new International Lux collection will showcase an effort by Sauder to bring some glam into everyday décor with furniture that incorporates metallic finishes, rich materials, sophisticated colors and sleep curves, the company said. Items in the collection will feature functional storage and accent pieces, including credenzas, storage cabinets, accent tables, upholstered seating, desks, coffee tables and nesting tables. Items in the line start at $69.99.
Sauder will also showcase several pieces that target the trend of small-space, loft and apartment living. Multipurpose pieces including ottomans that double as a footrest with storage, lightweight side tables and wheeled carts that can be used as a nightstand or bar cart will be on display. Also, sofa convertibles that can do double duty to accommodate an unexpected overnight guest and stow bedding in hidden under seat compartments will be on display.
In home office Sauder has developed counter-height desks designed to double as worktables for crafts as well as compact desks that can serve as sofa tables or fit nicely in entryways, the company said. The new items in home office will include desks, side tables and cabinets with power strips and USB charging stations with room for storage of tablets and laptops.
“Sophisticated design and the season’s hottest trends don’t need to come with an expensive price tag,” said John Amell, Sauder trend and design manager. “With new finishes, patterns and designs similar to favorite aspirational brands, we are showing how high-end design can fit into anyone’s home and budget.”
The fall market runs from October 18-23 in High Point, NC.
