In consequence of the chapter 11 bankruptcy filing by parent Sears Holdings, Sears Home & Business Franchises, which offers appliances and other services to consumers, is “here to stay and open to serve you,” stated Jeff Pepperney, the company’s vp.
The franchises that comprise the company operate as Sears Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, Sears Air Duct Cleaning, Sears Garage Solutions, Sears Handyman Solutions and Sears Maid Services. Each of the franchises is owned and independently operated by local businesses, the company noted.
“The only question we are hearing from customers is if we are still going to be around to service their needs,” Pepperney said. “The answer is a resounding yes. Not only are we open for business, our business remains very good, and all the work done by our 400 local Sears Home & Business Franchise operations was, is, and always will be 100% guaranteed. With a wide range of services, we are one of the nation’s largest providers of home services with millions of service and installation calls made annually. We will always stand with our customers and franchise business owners and behind our products and warranties.”
