Sears Hometown & Outlet Stores is celebrating what the company has designated Wish Wednesday as part of its Season of Wishes holiday initiative with charity Make-A-Wish.
Customers who donate $5 or more at Sears Hometown & Outlet Stores today get early access to Thanksgiving and Black Friday deals, the company stated.
Funds raised will help the charity to provide children with life-threatening medical conditions a wish-come-true experience. Since partnering with the organization last holiday season, Sears Hometown & Outlet Stores has raised more than $995,000 for Make-A-Wish.
“We believe in the power of a wish in helping children with life-threatening medical conditions and hope to raise more than $1 million this year,” said William Powell, Sears Hometown & Outlet Stores CEO and president. “With our customer’s support, we know we can hit this benchmark and grant even more wishes to deserving children.”
