As part of the company’s Winter Las Vegas Market festivities, Southern Enterprises Inc. conducted an off-site ribbon cutting for its new Las Vegas-area distribution center. The event occurred Monday, January 25, at its Las Vegas World Market Center showroom.
As the company enters its 40th anniversary year, SEI maintained that it has constituted its business as a new economy operation focused on e-commerce. With the new 150,000-square foot North Las Vegas distribution center, SEI will have the ability to deliver in three days or less to virtually all of the United States, said company officials.
In addition to holding the ribbon cutting, SEI introduced show participants to a variety of new furniture including its initial foray into bathroom vanities that includes items that suit room corners.
The company also has expanded its Holly & Martin line of Millennial-focused furniture with, for example, settee and accent chairs among the introductions. Small space living has been a point of emphasis at SEI as it seeks to serve the needs of Millennials and others living in close quarters. As such, the company debuted a new chair that quickly expands into seating for three with the addition of self-supporting leaves stored within the frame.
The Las Vegas Market concludes Thursday, January 28.
