Following the launch this past spring of its Superheated Steam Countertop Oven, Sharp said the new unit is now available at more than 500 Best Buy locations across the U.S. and also for sale on BestBuy.com.
The new countertop oven combines superheated steam and conventional, radiant heat in all cooking modes. With temperatures up to 485° Fahrenheit, the superheated steam allows for food to be both crispy and browned on the outside while remaining juicy and tender inside, according to the company.
Among the features of the Steam Oven is the ability to heat to 485° Fahrenheit, more than double the temperature of regular steam; instant on requiring no preheating; and five cooking modes including broil/grill, bake/reheat, pizza, warm and toast.
The Sharp Superheated Steam Countertop Oven will be available at Best Buy and BestBuy.com beginning early October for an expected retail price of $399.
