In its own turn on extended hours, Shopko has announced that its stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27. Stores will re-open for Black Friday at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving night and remain open until 11 p.m. Friday, November 28, it stated.
The retailer will offer 850 items at doorbuster prices in its namesake stores starting 6 p.m. Thursday through noon on Friday, while supplies last, it maintained.
Shopko Hometown stores, the company’s format for rural communities, will open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving, and will operate from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on November 28, with about 500 special doorbuster items available from opening until noon, while supplies last, the retailer related.
Starting on November 7, shopko.com began offering exclusive specials on Fridays leading up to Black Friday, the company noted. On Wednesday, November 26, the company will start offering early access to a special allocation of Black Friday doorbusters online through November 28 or until quantities run out, it noted.
