Smithey Ironware has entered a new segment of cookware with the debut of its new carbon steel skillet, which is available for a limited time.
According to the company, the new skillet is inspired by American blacksmith designs of the 18th and 19th century. In collaboration with Charleston artisan and blacksmith, Robert Thomas, the new 12-inch skillet is hand-forged and pre-seasoned. Additionally, each skillet is visually unique while sharing fundamental design elements including a handle design inspired by traditional fire tools and the signature Smithey 3-holed helper handle. The skillets are also individually numbered.
The carbon steel skillet carries a suggested retail price of $250.
