Smith’s Consumer Products has named Mike Nelson as managing director for international, reporting to Jeff Scanlon, vp/global sales.
According to Smith’s, Nelson brings many years of marketing and sales experience in the hardware and housewares segments. He will be responsible for the international business of all Smith’s divisions, including Smith’s sporting goods and the housewares brands, KitchenIQ and Firewire.
Prior to joining Smith’s, Nelson led Hunter Fan Company’s international division, and also held product management roles at Stanley and Newell-Rubbermaid.
